2009 Gray family trip to Moab

We spent the weekend in Moab and had a great time. We look forward to doing this next year

New adventure

Kerry and I just finished a 7 day cruise with my Dad and brothers and sister and spouses. We had a great time in Grand Caymon and Cozumel and Rouaton,Hondorus. We went Snuba diving in Hondrous and loved it and visited String Ray City in Grand Cayman. But the best part was visiting with my Dad and hanging out with family every day. These are the memories that will have for a long time.

We justt had a new oppurtunity come our way.

One of my best friends, Scott Parry ,passed away, this last Saturday, the 8th. He had struggle with diabetes for a long time and he was jsut worn out. Kerry and I have been best friends with Scott and his wife Kris and thier kids , Tim and Heather, for a long time and then in the past few years we have gotten busy with familes and other things and have not been as close. With this past week's experiences, I have really realized how much good frineds mean to me and to us! We wanted to have some more contact with Scott and Kris and felt bad we didn't do more recently, but then realized ,that we have done so much in the past 20 plus years and that memories we have are so grand and great. Both of our families have been blessed to have know each other and grown up together. I know Scott is in a better place and will be there some day when I pass to the other side as well and he will welcome me with open arms. In the mean time, Kerry and I will work harder to have more good memories with the group and with Kris.

The 1st Window.

This is the initial window of oppurtunity in Joe's window. We just finshed two weeks of visiting by Kerry's Dad, Paul Clark. We don't get to see him much, but he has such a great attiude every time he comes. Kerry got to visit with her brothe and sister and many of their children on several occasions. They went to Yellowstone and our family cabin at Bear Lake. I went to Seattle in middle of the visit to see my good freinds Russ and Mindy Wiscombe and Dan Tippetts. We also snuck in a visit to Husky Stadium to see BYU play Washington and a visit to Safeco Field to see the Yankees and Mariner's game. it was an awesome weekend and I even got to go to Spuds to have some world famous fish and chips! Yum! Yum!

I am anxioulsy waiting the out come of the baseball season and hope my Red Sox's make it to the play offs. Then I can prouldy wear my Red Sox's jacket!

Kerry and I just finished another widow of oppurtunity, serving as Inner City Missionaries in a Spanish speaking branch of the church. Since Kerry does't speak much Spanish, it was hard for her, but she carried a great spirit every Sunday. We had many great oppurtinites to help and serve others.
